SBN Proudly supporting the next generation of British Sporting Talent.

SBN are proud to sponsor talented athletes that could just become the British Sporting Stars of the Future

Household names like  Sir Bradley Wiggins, Dame Sarah Storey, Sir Steve Redgrave, David Weir CBE, Sir Chris Hoy, Baroness Grey-Thompson, and Sir Ben Ainslie, are amongst 100's that have been supported by organisations like us at SBN, with our Partners SportsAid.

At the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games the alumni of supported athletes made up two-thirds of the British Team, together achieving 20 Olympic & 27 Paralympic Gold medals, the highest Great Britain has ever achieved!

Whilst their sports are varied all these athletes will not hesitate to tell you how they struggled in the early years, raiding the "bank of Mum and Dad" more than it could cope with while they strived to be the best in the World.

That's where The SBN comes in, we, and a number of like-minded organisations, support them with grants through our partner organisation SportsAid. Not all of our supported athletes will make it to the podium and beyond, but their determination and passion is what inspires us, and our SBN Members.

How can you get involved?

By taking up SBN Membership, you will instantly be playing your part. We support athletes through our four4one programme where 50% of all SBN membership fees go to our emerging talent fund, and for every four new members, we support one more athlete. Your SBN Membership allows you access to these inspiring young athletes, share their journey's, and we'll show you what a positive impact this can have on your business too!

Bobby Clay smashes everything!

Supporting the next generation of sporting stars is what SBN is most proud of, and whether they make it to the top or not, we are there to support them and cheer them on

One of our rising stars is Bobbly Clay, an 18 year old 1500m runner from Kent. Bobby is our little Pocket Rocket! She won't mind us pointing out that she's tiny, often surrounded by very tall long distance runners, only serves to highlight this! But Bobby is smashing just about everything at the moment and we believe there's a lot more to come!

Returning from injury just a few months ago, Bobby turned her frustration from not being able to train into pure power!

In the space of a few weeks she has smashed over 2 seconds off her Personal Best, won the European Qualifying Final, and has now been selected to represent Great Britain in the European Diamond League Competition in Sweden in a few weeks time! Bobby we think you rock!

We'll keep you updated on her progress, she is most definitely one to watch and her passion and determination is infectious!

If you would like to know more about the SBN and our Four4One programme that supports Bobby and a number of other athletes drop us a line and we'll happily tell you more.
